Mr. Michael Orya is the Founder and Executive Trustee of the Benue Entrepreneurs Empowerment Network (BEEN) — a legacy-driven initiative dedicated to empowering micro and small-scale entrepreneurs, promoting inclusive economic growth, and transforming communities across Benue State and Nigeria.

A dynamic social entrepreneur and development strategist, Mr. Orya holds an MBA in Strategic Management and is a Fellow of the Institute of Policy Management Developement (FIPMD). He also earned a certificate in Young International Women’s Health (SOHS-YINTWOMENHEALTH) from Stanford Online, and a certificate in Public Financial Management (PFMx) from the International Monetary Fund (IMF).

As Executive Trustee, Mr. Orya provides strategic leadership and governance oversight for BEEN, ensuring that its mission is realized through impactful programs in entrepreneurship development, youth and women empowerment, prison reintegration, and grassroots enterprise.

He is known for his visionary leadership, policy advocacy, and deep commitment to human capital development and economic justice.
